I grew up in Washington State. I was raised the youngest of five children in a Christian home. I watched family members go through extreme ups and downs in their Christian walk. In junior high school I met believers from the local church in Seattle. Many of them loved the Lord Jesus and maintained normal and stable Christian lives. By meeting with these believers I was empowered through their fellowship to give my life to the Lord.
Since I've been in the local churches I was inspired to get my college education (the first in my family), to get a nice career and to lead an uplifted Christian life. I'm now in my thirties and I have a husband and two daughters and have been in this fellowship ever since. I can't thank the Lord enough for leading me to the local churches. While Witness Lee was alive he was my greatest living example of a man of God. He cared for the Lord's interest above his own and was faithful to the vision he saw in God's Word. During my twenty years in the local church I've been touched by his life and by his messages from God's Word.
